A Word Before You Enter

The Nature of Energy

Nothing in the spiritual world is ever set in stone. The energy of this moment may be entirely different thirty minutes from now. A tarot reading, therefore, is only true for now.

When you make a new decision or change your mind, a previous reading may no longer be valid. We are not responsible for any emotional distress or grief that a reading may reveal, and you shall not hold us accountable for it.

Any money returned will be returned fairly. Nothing is guaranteed. Enter with an open heart and a grounded mind.

The Cards as Mirrors

Tarot Readings

The deck is laid out and you are asked to pick the card that is calling to you — one, two, or three. What you reach for is already telling, before a single word is said.

A tarot reading is a mirror held up to the energy moving through you right now: the currents, the blocks, and the openings. Nothing in it is fixed. The cards describe the moment you are standing in, and what you do with it stays yours to choose.

What the cards really show you are patterns — the pattern of the path you are on now, and the patterns of the other paths beside it. Seeing them laid out is what gives you a choice about where to go next. That is how we see the future: not as something written, but as something already forming, and always yours to turn.

The Basics

Reading, Explained Gently

A little grounding before you sit down with the cards. No fear, no superstition, just the honest shape of it.

What a Reading Actually Is

At the very basis of it, everything is energy — and a reading is simply the reading of that energy. The energy of the moment, your energy in this moment, and the energy of the situation you are standing in. It is a snapshot, not a sentence: it shows where things are leaning right now, the way a weather report shows the sky. Nothing in it is fixed, and you are always the one who decides what to do with it.

Why Readings Happen

People come to readings at thresholds: a decision, a loss, a change, a question they cannot put down. A reader holds up a mirror and puts words to what you may already feel. Often the reading simply confirms what you already knew.

Protection & Intention

Protection here is simple and unglamorous, and intention is everything. Before any reading, this is what we do:

  • We set our intention first, and we mean it — a reading is only ever as clean as the intention behind it.
  • We remove our cords, releasing old attachments and borrowed energy so nothing enters that does not belong to this moment.
  • We shield and protect our energy.
  • We light a candle for protection — a small, deliberate act that marks the space as ours.
  • We call upon the Most High for protection.
  • We ask the Holy Spirit for answers during the reading, so we know the guidance is coming from the best place possible.
  • We ask for messages for the highest good — not for what is easiest to hear, but for what the person in front of us actually needs.

A Short History

Tarot cards first appear in fifteenth-century Italy as a card game called tarocchi, and only later, in the 1700s and 1800s, were they turned to divination. Palmistry reaches back thousands of years through India, China, Greece, and Rome. Psychic and mediumistic work appears in nearly every culture we know of, in some form or another.

Sages, Seers & Mystics

The Ones Who Saw Ahead

Every age has had its seers. The oracle at Delphi spoke for centuries. The sages of India mapped the inner world long before they mapped the outer one. Mystics in every tradition described the same thing in different words: that a life is larger than what can be measured, and that a person can learn to listen for it.

Some of the greatest minds we know were also the most willing to say that their best ideas did not feel like theirs. Leonardo da Vinci filled thousands of notebook pages with machines and anatomies no one had drawn before, working decades ahead of the tools that could build them. Nikola Tesla described his inventions arriving whole — the finished design, down to the details, appearing in his mind before his hands ever touched a part. Both men were careful observers and relentless workers. Both also spoke of receiving something.

This is what channeling means in its plainest sense. Not a performance and not a possession, but the very ordinary human experience of a thing arriving complete — a solution, a sentence, a melody, a design — as though it were handed to you rather than assembled. Every writer, painter, and inventor you admire has described some version of it. Most people have felt it at least once, usually right before deciding it did not count.

The list is long, and it is not a list of occultists. Pythagoras taught that number was the language of the cosmos. Socrates said his only wisdom was knowing what he did not know, and followed an inner voice he simply called his sign. Hildegard of Bingen wrote music, medicine, and visions from a convent in the twelfth century. Isaac Newton wrote more about alchemy and prophecy than he ever wrote about physics. Rumi wrote that the inner world was the larger one. Emerson called it the oversoul. Einstein said the most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious.

What these people share is not a method you can copy. It is a posture: they stayed available to something they could not explain, and then they did the work of bringing it back into the world. That is all a reader, a seer, or a mystic has ever really been — someone who listened carefully, and then told the truth about what they heard.

Leonardo da Vinci

Painter, anatomist, engineer. He drew machines and dissected bodies centuries before anyone could build or see them.

Nikola Tesla

Described his inventions arriving whole — the complete design, down to the details — before he built a single part.

Hildegard of Bingen

Twelfth-century abbess who wrote music, medicine, and visions from a convent on the Rhine.

Pythagoras

Mathematician and mystic. He taught that number was the language the cosmos spoke in.

Socrates

Claimed his only wisdom was knowing what he did not know, and followed an inner voice he simply called his sign.

Rumi

Poet and mystic who wrote that the inner world is the larger of the two.

Isaac Newton

Wrote more on alchemy and prophecy than on the physics that made him famous.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Essayist who named the oversoul and trusted intuition over argument.

Albert Einstein

Said the most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious.

Beyond the Ordinary Mind

Psychic & Mediumship Readings

Psychic and mediumship work are two directions of the same faculty — reading what is not visible. One reads the living energy around you: the room, the relationship, the decision you have been circling for weeks. The other reaches toward the loved ones and guides who have crossed over.

Both arrive the same way — small, specific, and hard to explain away. A phrase. A habit. A joke only the two of you would have known. Nothing about either one is dark, and nothing has to be proven. I share what comes through exactly as it arrives, and nothing that does not.

Palm Readings

Your hands have been keeping the record the whole time. Every habit, every fear you have worked through, every change you have made is written into the lines, the mounts, and the shape of the palm — which makes palmistry the most personal document you will ever carry around with you.

Both hands are read together: the non-dominant hand is what you arrived with, the dominant hand is what you have done with it. The distance between the two is the whole conversation, and it is a reading you can watch shift over the years.

The Long Version

The Readings Guide

Six ways to be read, in full — what each one is, what it is good for, what it is not, and how a session actually runs. Take your time with it. There is no wrong door to walk through.

The Long Line

Divination Is Not the Enemy

Every people who ever looked up has asked something to answer back. Long before there were books there were ways of asking: lots cast on the ground, the flight of birds, the stars, the fall of cowrie shells, the turn of a card. Divination simply means the practice of asking a question and listening for the answer. It is not a religion, and it is not a power you seize. It is a conversation — and the only question that has ever mattered is who you are talking to.

There are other ways of asking, and I want to name them here, because they are just as honest as the ones on this page: runes cast from a bag, bones thrown onto a cloth, charms and curios read one at a time, a pendulum swinging out its yes or no. They are real forms of divination, and there is nothing wrong with them. They are simply not part of my practice, so you will not find them offered here. I read what I have been given, and I leave the rest with the people who carry it.

Older than writing

Mesopotamia read the stars and the marks of an offering. Egypt read dreams. China kept the I Ching, India kept her seers, West Africa kept the sixteen shells of Ifá. There is no continent where people did not ask, and no century where the asking stopped.

Asked in Scripture

The high priest carried the Urim and Thummim to seek counsel for Israel (Exodus 28:30, Numbers 27:21). Saul called for a perfect lot to find what was hidden (1 Samuel 14:41). And after Judas fell, the eleven prayed, cast lots, and the lot fell on Matthias, who was numbered with the apostles (Acts 1:26).

The Magi read the sky

The wise men who came to Christ were star-readers from the East. They watched the heavens, saw the sign, and followed it until it stood over the child (Matthew 2). Heaven used their reading of the sky to lead them, and then sent them home another way.

Where the fear came from

Deuteronomy 18 forbids divination, and it is a real passage, not one to talk around. Read closely, it forbids consulting other powers in place of God — while that same law commanded the Urim and Thummim for seeking Him. Later councils and the witch trials hardened it into "all of it is evil," and the fear outlived the reasoning.

"The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is of the LORD."

Proverbs 16:33

That is the whole of it. When you are asking the Creator — Source, God, the Father who art in heaven — you are not reaching outside of Him. You are speaking to Him in a language you were given, and the answer comes back the way He chooses: a line in a palm, a card turned over, a number you cannot stop noticing, a knowing you cannot explain, a name from someone you loved who is not gone.

What makes any of it dark is never the tool. It is the intention, and it is the power you hand away. Fear-based readings, money-first readers, anything that shrinks you or makes you dependent — that is what to walk away from, and it is just as true of a pulpit as it is of a psychic. I do not read to frighten you. I do not read to decide for you. I read with pure intention, and I hand the question up before I ever open my mouth.

So test everything. Take what rings true, leave what does not, and keep your own hand on the wheel. Scripture says to judge prophecy rather than forbid it, and to prove all things and hold fast to what is good (1 Thessalonians 5:20–21). Discernment is not disobedience. It is the only honest way to walk any of this.

Below is each reading in full — where it comes from, what it is good for, and how it found me.

The Language of Pictures

Everything Speaks in Symbol

The soul does not speak in paragraphs. It speaks in pictures — one image carrying a whole meaning at once, the way a single smell can bring back a room you have not stood in for thirty years. That is symbology: the oldest language we have, and the one we were born already fluent in.

We live by symbols whether we notice or not. A ring, a scar, a flag, a number, a song from a hard year — each one holds power over us because of the meaning we set inside it. That is the part worth knowing: the meaning is not in the object. It is in us, and it can be changed. Change the symbol and you change the mindset. Change the mindset and the life follows, because you start moving like someone who believes something different. "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he" (Proverbs 23:7).

Messages come the same way. The Most High speaks in the language of images, and He uses whatever is in front of you: a dream you cannot shake, a word that lands too hard to be coincidence, the same bird at the same window, the card that turns over and stops you cold. He is not hiding. He is speaking constantly, in the one language that reaches past the thinking mind and straight into the soul — and most of the work is simply learning to answer instead of looking away.

A tarot deck is that language written down. Seventy-eight images built on the archetypes every human life runs through — the mother, the trickster, the tower that comes down, the star that comes after it. When you lay a card, you are handing your own knowing a picture to stand on, and then your intuition does the reading. The card is not the answer. The card is the mirror, and the answer was already in the room.

Dreams

The oldest doorway there is, and the one Scripture keeps returning to — Jacob dreaming of a ladder at Bethel, Joseph reading Pharaoh's dream, Daniel reading a king's, the Magi warned in a dream not to go back the way they came. "Your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions" (Acts 2:17). Write them down. The ones that are messages usually repeat.

Visions

A seeing that comes while you are awake — a picture laid over the room, a scene that plays out behind your eyes. Peter saw the sheet let down from heaven (Acts 10); Paul saw a man from Macedonia calling him across the water (Acts 16). Visions are usually for direction rather than detail.

Premonitions

A knowing that arrives before the thing does — a weight, a warning, a name that comes to you before the phone rings. Paul told the crew the voyage would end in loss before it did (Acts 27:10). Everyone has felt one. The work is learning to tell a true nudge from your own worry.

Cards, palms, the stars, numbers

These are the systems — the agreed-upon alphabets. A palm, a spread, a chart, a number you keep noticing: each gives the same inner knowing a shape to stand in, so it can be seen and spoken instead of only felt.

Not every dream is a message, and not every shiver is a warning — some dreams are just the day digesting. Ask for clarity, write down what comes, and test it against what is true in your life. And know this: the voice worth following never drives you into fear. "God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). A symbol that shrinks you was read wrong, or was never from Him.

The Faculties

The Clairs, and the Ones Who Feel Everything

Every reading in this guide is carried by the same handful of faculties, and almost nobody is taught their names. You have been using them your whole life and calling them a hunch, a gut feeling, or a very good imagination.

The clairs are simply the channels intuition arrives through. Most people lean on one or two and barely register the rest — which is exactly why naming them helps. A signal you can name is a signal you can trust, question, and practise.

Clairvoyance

Clear seeing

Images that arrive uninvited: a flash of a face, a room you have never stood in, a colour sitting over a person. Sometimes it comes in a dream; sometimes it is behind your eyes while they are wide open. Most people call it a vivid imagination and move on.

Clairaudience

Clear hearing

Words, names or a whole phrase that arrives in your inner voice but is not in your style — a tone you would never use, a name you had no reason to think of. A few hear it as sound. Most hear it as a thought with a signature on it.

Clairsentience

Clear feeling

The most common of them all. You walk into a room and your body changes before your mind has an opinion — heaviness, tightness, a lift in the chest. You are reading the emotional weather of the space, and you are usually right about it.

Claircognizance

Clear knowing

You simply know, with no chain of reasoning you could show anyone. The answer is there before the question has finished. It is the hardest one to trust, because when someone asks how you know, there is nothing to point at.

Clairalience

Clear smelling

A scent with no source: a perfume, tobacco, a flower, a particular meal, arriving out of nowhere and gone as fast as it came. It usually belongs to someone — and it tends to show up right around the time you were thinking of them.

Clairgustance

Clear tasting

A taste in the mouth that nothing you ate explains — something sweet, something metallic, a dish from a kitchen you grew up in. Rare, and tied far more often to a person or a memory than to any place.

Clairtangency

Clear touching

Holding an object and getting a story off it — a mood, an image, a knowing that does not belong to you. It is also called psychometry, and it is why some readers ask for a photograph or a piece of jewellery and read it the way another reader reads a page.

The Empath, and the Energy Around You

Empathy in the plain sense is reading another person's state and answering it. What people call being an empath is the same faculty turned up high: you do not merely notice the room, you take it on. You leave a gathering carrying moods that were never yours, and you cannot always tell where you stop and the other person begins.

There is real science underneath that. Sensory processing sensitivity is a measurable trait, present in roughly fifteen to twenty per cent of people and identified in more than a hundred other species. People higher on the trait take in subtler information and process it more deeply — and when researchers put them in a scanner and showed them the faces of people they love, the regions involved in awareness, empathy and self-other processing lit up more strongly than in those lower on the trait.

That is not weakness, and it is not a disorder. It is a nervous system built to read the room before it moves — the strategy of noticing first. It is also genuinely tiring, which is why the work is not to feel less. The work is to know which feelings are yours.

What Trauma Has to Do With It

Here is the part almost nobody says out loud. The same sensitivity that lets a person feel a room can also be built by trauma — and from the inside, the two can feel exactly alike.

Hypervigilance is one of the most common responses to overwhelming experience. The brain lowers its threshold for what counts as a threat and begins scanning continuously for the next one. Attention goes to the smallest shift in a face, a tone, a breath. The threat-detection network stays switched on, and anxiety and detection keep feeding each other in a loop.

Childhood and developmental adversity build the strongest version of it, because that is when a nervous system is still learning what the world is. Someone raised in an unpredictable house often becomes extraordinarily good at reading people — because reading people was how they stayed safe.

So the gift and the wound can run on the same wire. And this is where honesty matters more than comfort: correlation is not cause, and neither one cancels the other. Plenty of deeply empathic people had nothing to survive. Plenty of people carrying trauma are not unusually sensitive at all. And a great many are both — sensitive by nature, and turned up further by what they lived through.

What can actually be done is the useful part. Trauma-shaped sensitivity comes with the alarm still attached: you read the room, and then you brace. Sensitivity that has been untangled reads the room and stays in the body, able to notice without preparing for a blow. Learning to tell those two apart — noticing whether the signal arrives with calm or with dread — is where the work begins, and it goes better with help than alone.

The sky at the exact moment you arrived

Written in the Stars

Astrology reads your birth chart: a picture of the sky at the exact moment and place you arrived — a map of the terrain you came in with, not a set of instructions you have to follow.

We look at the whole chart together: the sun, the moon, the rising sign, the houses, and the angles between them. Read as one thing, they describe temperament, the way you love and the way you argue, where you get stuck, and where you come alive. Then we bring it forward — the transits moving over your chart right now, and what they are asking of you this year.

Astrology is a tool for evolution, not a definition of who you are. The chart shows the ground you are standing on. How you walk it is always yours to choose — that part was never written anywhere in the sky.

How it found me

I have been studying astrology since I was eighteen. The first astrology book I ever owned came through the mail as part of an astrology class in the early 2000s, and I have been drawn to the stars for as long as I can remember. I came back to it as an adult after being led to it through spiritual insight — I sat down with my own chart and finally understood why I am the way I am: which placements helped me, and which ones I had been fighting my whole life. It changed my life for the better, and I am still learning it every day. I am writing a book on my own theory of astrology, and I have the words written in the stars tattooed on my neck like a necklace. We are written in the stars. I have never doubted it.

What it is good for

Thresholds. Big decisions. The seasons that feel like they are moving without your permission. And the quieter question of why you keep doing the thing you keep doing.

What it is not

A sentence. Nothing in your chart is fixed fate, and no placement gets to decide your life for you. If a reading ever leaves you feeling small, it was a bad reading.

How a session runs

The numbers you were given and the ones you keep noticing

Numerology

Numerology reads the numbers that arrived with you — your birth date, your birth name — and the numbers you keep noticing.

We work out your core numbers: the life path from your birth date, the expression and soul numbers from your birth name, and the personal year you are moving through right now. Read together they sketch a temperament and a timing — where your natural current runs, and what season you are actually standing in.

Then there are the numbers you keep seeing. The same hour on the clock, a date that follows you, a number you cannot stop noticing. Those are not something to be afraid of. They are nudges, and most of the work is simply learning to answer them instead of looking away.

How it found me

Numerology let me understand karma on a completely different level — karmic pathways, and where the numbers sit in all of it. Everything is based on numbers, which means there is a numerology message in absolutely everything.

What it is good for

What it is not

A lottery ticket. Numbers describe the shape of a life; they do not hand you outcomes. Nothing here takes your hand off the wheel.

Written in the hand

Palmistry

Palmistry is one of the oldest readings there is. Hand reading appears in the traditions of India, China, Greece, and Rome, with written records going back thousands of years — long enough to be argued about, refined, and passed down hand to hand.

A reading looks at the shape of the hand, the length and depth of the lines, the mounts, and the small marks that make your hands yours. Read together they speak to character, temperament, and the timing of things — a portrait of a life, drawn in the lines you have been carrying with you all along.

Both hands are read. The non-dominant hand is what you came in with; the dominant hand is what you have done with it. The space between the two is where the real conversation happens.

Where it comes from

Hand reading is one of the oldest practices there is, and it appeared in more than one place at once. In India it is Hasta Samudrika Shastra, taught alongside Vedic astrology, with roots reaching back thousands of years. In China the hand was read beside the I Ching, with records traced to the Zhou dynasty. In the West it travelled through Babylon, Greece and Rome: Hippocrates used the hand in diagnosis, and a treatise on the subject was attributed to Aristotle for centuries.

In medieval Europe chiromancy was taught in the universities alongside astrology and medicine — the hand read as part of the body's own record. When the schools closed their doors to it, the Roma carried it across the continent, and that is where it picked up its travelling reputation. In the early 1900s a reader known as Cheiro read the palms of the famous and palmistry came back into the open.

Through all of it the idea never changed: the life you are living leaves marks, and the marks can be read.

What it is good for

Character, temperament, and timing. It is also a very good first reading — plain, grounded, and hard to argue with once you look down at your own hands.

What it is not

A countdown. A short line is not a short life. The lines record change, which is exactly why they can shift over the years.

How a session runs

A deck of mirrors

Tarot

Tarot does not tell you what will happen. The cards show you the energy moving through your life right now, and the shape it is taking.

The cards first appear in fifteenth-century Italy as a game called tarocchi, and only later, in the 1700s and 1800s, were they turned toward divination. The images have had centuries to gather meaning, and they read like a language — a story told in seventy-eight pictures.

A spread is a conversation. We name the question, lay the cards, and read what is present: the currents, the blocks, the openings, and what each one is asking of you. Most people leave with the thing they already knew said out loud, which is usually the most useful thing a reading can do.

Where it comes from

Cards as we know them arrived in Europe in the 1400s as tarocchi, a trick-taking game played in the courts of northern Italy. The oldest decks still with us, the Visconti-Sforza, were hand-painted for noble families. For three hundred years the cards were a game and the pictures were only pictures.

Then in 1781 a French scholar named Court de Gébelin looked at them and saw something far older, believing they carried the wisdom of ancient Egypt. That origin story turned out to be mistaken, but it is the reason the cards took on their mystique. Etteilla made the first deck built for reading, and in 1909 A. E. Waite and Pamela Colman Smith gave us the deck most people still picture — she illustrated every one of the seventy-eight cards, and her images are why tarot reads like a story instead of a list.

Behind all of it sits something older than cards: casting lots to ask a question and letting something beyond us answer. That instinct is not new, and it was never a game.

How it found me

My first tarot reading was given to me when I was twenty-one, and the very first oracle card pulled for me showed a pregnant woman. I was pregnant not long after. Tarot called to me for years after that — I would pace the aisles of Books-A-Million arguing with myself about whether to buy a deck, because the taboo of it scared me. It took years. I bought the deck, and then it sat unread for more years still. In 2018 I finally started reading it, and inside that same year I was reading for people on Facebook Lives at five dollars a card. It opened up symbology, archetypes, patterns, and the paths we each walk. I adore it.

What it is good for

What it is not

Fortune-telling that takes your choices away. The cards describe the current; you are the one steering the boat.

What is circling, and who is still connected

Psychic & Mediumship

Psychic and mediumship work are two directions of the same faculty — reading what is not visible. One reads the living energy around you; the other reaches toward the loved ones and guides who have crossed over.

Psychic work reads the current you are already standing in: the room, the relationship, the decision you have been circling for weeks. It is less about the future as a fixed place and more about the direction things are actually leaning. I say what I see, plainly. Some of it lands immediately; some of it may only make sense a month from now, and I will tell you honestly which is which.

Mediumship reads a different current. Loved ones come through in their own way and their own time, and what arrives is usually small, specific, and unmistakable — a phrase, a habit, a joke only the two of you would have known. I share what comes through exactly as it arrives, and nothing that does not. For a lot of people this is where the healing happens: you get to keep the relationship instead of only the loss.

Both are handled the same way — with intention set first, protection asked for, and nothing shared that did not actually come through. Whatever you believe about how any of it works, the relief of it is real, and it is yours to have.

Where it comes from

Direct knowing is as old as humanity, and almost every tradition has a name for it: the seers of India, the oracles of Greece, the prophets of Israel, the inner light the Quakers sat with in silence. At Delphi the Pythia spoke for Apollo, and kings and farmers alike climbed the mountain for counsel — it was not hidden, and it was not called evil. It was where a people went to ask.

The word psychic itself comes from the Greek psychē, the soul. The shape we use now came in the nineteenth century, when the Spiritualist movement and the first psychical researchers began writing it down. None of that is the source of the gift. It is only the vocabulary we inherited for something people have always done: listening.

Keeping company with the dead is the oldest religious practice there is. Rome held its parentalia for the ancestors, Egypt and China kept altars to them, and countless traditions still do. What we call mediumship grew out of that same ground; the word and the movement around it took shape in 1848 in a small house in Hydesville, New York, and became the Spiritualist churches that still hold services today.

Scripture does not leave the question alone either. When Saul went to the woman at Endor (1 Samuel 28), it was not the dead who were the problem — it was that he had stopped asking God and let fear drive him to a back door. On the mountain of Transfiguration, Moses and Elijah stood and spoke with Christ in front of witnesses (Matthew 17). And Hebrews names a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us. The bond was never cut. That is the whole of what I hold.

How it found me

I have always been psychic, and I have always been drawn to psychic things. My mom had psychic books in the house when I was little, and when I was about twenty-one I ended up with the same set of three books myself. And I have always heard the Most High — Source, God, Christ, whatever you want to call it — speak to me and guide me through my life. The mediumship came the other way: it was developed and pushed open through deep mourning. I lost my father when I was seventeen, and that grief is where this gift grew. Around the same time I started reading cards, I was doing guided meditations to develop my mediumship, one after another. Mediumship is sacred to me. It deserves the same love you have for your own loved ones, and it should always be handled that way.

What it is good for

Feeling stuck and needing it named. Grief that has nowhere to go. Anniversaries. The things you never got to say, and the ones you are still carrying.

What it is not

A verdict, and never a promise. Nothing I see takes your choices away, I cannot make anyone come through on command, and I will not invent a message to fill a silence. What comes, comes.

How a session runs

Thirty minutes or an hour, in person or by phone. Come with your questions or come with nothing at all — both work. Bring a name if you like, then let it go; the ones who want to speak usually find their way in.

Psychic $50 for 30 minutes · $100 for an hour — Medium $80 per 30 minutes
